How It All Works
The awards process continues to evolve, taking account of feedback from entrants and judges to ensure that the process is as fair as possible with maximum benefits to all.
The following pages cover the key strands within the awards programme.
South West Tourism Excellence Awards
Winners from the Devon Tourism Awards will be automatically 'fast-tracked' into the judging for the South West Tourism Excellence Awards and, if successful, into the Enjoy England awards.
Some categories are not run in the Devon Tourism Awards and for these you should enter direct into the South West Tourism Excellence Awards at www.southwesttourismawards.org.uk
These categories are:
- Outstanding Customer Service award - for individuals and teams
- Access for All award - for businesses that excel in offering an outstanding visitor experience whatever the customer's mobility, diets or other need
- Tourism Event - for significant events adn festivals that impact on the visitor economy
- Tourist Information Service - for providers of information to visitors whilst in the region, whether physical centres or alternative information outlets
