The 2026 Devon Tourism Awards are closed for entry

Devon Tourism Awards entries up 12%

Tourism businesses across Devon have once again demonstrated their commitment to excellence, with entries to the Devon Tourism Awards rising to 157 completed submissions in 2026 – up 12% on last year.

The increase means the awards have almost doubled in size since they launched in 2010, when just 80 entries were received.

This year’s entries span accommodation providers, visitor attractions, restaurants, experiences, events and tourism businesses from across the county, reflecting the strength and diversity of Devon’s visitor economy.

Robin Barker, Awards Director, said, “It is fantastic to see so many Devon businesses taking the opportunity to benchmark themselves against the very best in the industry. The growth in entries reflects the innovation and resilience of Devon’s tourism sector. Every year we are inspired by the quality of businesses entering and the passion they show for creating outstanding visitor experiences.”

Judging is now underway, with finalists due to be announced later this year before winners are revealed at the awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Plymouth on 3 December.
