For over 400 years, Shillingham has been a working livestock farm on the Cornish coast. In 2021, the Ramsden siblings charted a bold new course by planting 70,000 vines. The coastal land has always marched to its own rhythm, with early springs and lingering autumns that didn’t suit traditional crops, but proved ideal for pioneering a new story in English wine.
By planting rarities like Sauvignon Blanc alongside classic varieties, Shillingham now produces vibrant, high-quality wines, working in harmony with the land to capture the unique spirit of Cornwall in every glass.
